Interstate 5/Interstate 405 Interchange

Mr. Hout developed this $113 million interchange by providing project and construction management services to make sure the project was completed on time and within budget. The project included the reconfiguration of the freeway to freeway connectors, addition of collector/distributor roads to eliminate weaving problems, and a new interchange at Bake Parkway.

Mr. Hout acted as the Design Director during the design phase of the project, and as Project Director during construction. They received ACSE’s Project of the Year Award.
