I-215/University Parkway Interchange Project

The I-215/University Parkway Interchange project will construct a Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) which promotes safety, decreases congestion, and minimizes the cost of new infrastructure. In Summer 2020, the project received environmental clearance, and design and right-of-way acquisition began. Marisa Greenway coordinated all aspects of stakeholder preconstruction outreach activities since the design phase of the project. Marisa Greenway, as Community Liaison Lead, held neighborhood meetings to educate stakeholders on the project and the DDI. She developed an updated fact sheet and webpage as well as educational video to explain the benefits of a DDI. Marisa Greenway partnered with the California State University, San Bernardino on outreach communication strategies to their students and staff.
